New mobile library timetables

Wiltshire Council has just released the latest mobile library timetables bringing further improvements to this highly valued local service.

There are 4 mobile libraries serving the public in rural Wiltshire. With 264 stops a fortnight, 55,000 visitors a year and covering 86,000 miles between them the mobile service reaches out to rural communities providing reading and learning opportunities for all.

Each mobile stocks a large range of information books and novels, from the latest thriller to best-selling autobiographies, cookery and gardening. There is also a wide selection of large print and talking books.

Parents with young children, will find a great range of picture books, story CDs and films on DVD for them to enjoy; there are information books and plenty of exciting reading for older children as well.

It’s free to join the library, ­just bring along proof of your name and address and the mobile library manager will sign you up immediately – they are always happy to help.
