A Camerata Christmas with John Rutter

  • in

John Rutter, the legendary composer and conductor, will be taking over the baton at Bath Camerata’s Christmas concert this year.

Affectionately dubbed as ‘Mr Christmas’, John Rutter CBE will join the award-winning chamber choir in the beautifully restored surroundings of Holy Trinity Church in Bradford on Avon, just before Christmas – on Sunday 23 December at 5pm.

John Rutter is possibly the most commercially successful carol composer of our age, and Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a carol or two by him.  So Bath Camerata is thrilled that Mr Rutter has agreed to lead them in this favourite annual concert that will tell the story of Christmas.

Bath Camerata has a reputation for offering something for everyone, and this concert will be no exception.  It will feature a festive feast of well-loved carols alongside some Christmas music which may be more unfamiliar.  Naturally there will also be a few Rutter favourites interspersed throughout, plus there’ll be the opportunity to sing along with some classic audience carols.

Tickets are priced at £20 and £15 with half-price tickets available for under 25s.

To book tickets, visit the choir’s website www.bathcamerata.co.uk or contact Bath Box Office on 01225 463362.
