Celebrating 20 years of musical talent

LOCAL musicians will join forces with Cantamus Chamber Choir for a gala concert to celebrate 20 years with their musical director Mike Daniels.

On Sunday November 10 Cantamus Chamber Choir, male choir Men with Horns and soloists Kirsten Mulcahy, Marie Elliot, Peter Kirk and Niall Hoskin will perform at Wiltshire Music Centre.

Mr Daniels is a musician and educator and enjoys music from many genres. Sometime at the end of the last millennium, after a memorable performance of David Fanshawe’s African Sanctus in Bradford on Avon’s Tithe Barn, Mike, then a music teacher at St Laurence School was approached to conduct Cantamus.

Cantamus used to meet in Winsley for many years until their move to the Wiltshire Music Centre in 2013.

Tickets for the concert are available from the Wiltshire Music Centre box office wiltshiremusic.org.uk or 01225 860100.
