Bradford B&B plugs in to zero carbon with charger

The first electric car charging station in Bradford on Avon is being unveiled today at Beeches Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast to help reduce the carbon emissions in the town.

Zero Carbon World is a UK charity that wants to reduce carbon emissions and believes electric cars are the future, so it is donating charging stations to hotel, leisure and entertainment industries.

People can come along to the B&B on Holt Road to see the charging station in action and fellow businesses can see how they can benefit from one.

Members from Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon and Kevin Sharpe, the patron and founder of Zero Carbon World, will be attending the public event, which starts at 10am.

    • Brilliant. A first for BoA – well done Pauline and Nigel at The Beeches for having the foresight to install a car charging point and to Kevin and the Zero Carbon World team for making it happen.
