Cllr Philip Whitehead, leader of Wiltshire Council, said: “In line with government advice on social distancing, we are asking people to avoid visiting our hubs where possible.

“Our services are accessible online or over the telephone and I would ask you all to use these options instead of coming into our hubs.

“Your safety is our top priority and by avoiding our hubs you will make a huge difference in stopping the spread of Covid-19.”

The cabinet meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) will be livestreamed and available to watch from 10am at https://wiltshire.public-i.tv/core/portal/webcast_interactive/370458
