The Town Council is hiring
The Town Council is currently in discussions to take on more green spaces and services from Wiltshire Council, and with some acquisitions already complete, we are seeking to recruit two new officers.
The first is an additional Town Warden to join our existing team of wardens who keep public conveniences, pathways and other areas under our management clean and tidy. They also help to keep us informed of matters requiring attention, observed as they go about their duties and via interaction with the public.
GREEN SPACES MANAGER
We are also creating a brand new role ‘Green Spaces Officer’ to manage, protect and enhance all outdoor areas under our control for the benefit of residents, visitors and tourists alike.
As the Town Council has declared a Climate Emergency, this new officer will also help us to implement schemes which encourage biodiversity, through consideration of planting, conservation and re-wilding projects. This role requires operational experience, enthusiasm and a love of the outdoors.
If you are interested in finding out more about either of these roles, visit our Job Vacancies page: HERE
THE APPLICATION CLOSING DATE FOR BOTH ROLES IS 8TH NOVEMBER 2019
