The beans were stolen from Secret Gardens planters in Bradford on Avon

A THIEF has stolen newly planted purple French bean plants from three planters in Bradford on Avon and carefully covered the holes.

The planters were installed by Bradford on Avon Secret Gardens and are maintained by volunteers for the benefit of the town.

Ann Seward, of Coppice Hill, Bradford on Avon, said: “This casual theft deprives others of enjoying the planting and the eventual harvest.”
