Stable owner in South Wraxall warns of suspicious man

A horse owner has warned stable owners to be on alert after a suspicious man called at her yard.

She said the man in a dark grey Peugeot entered her yard in South Wraxall near Bradford on Avon and asked if she had any old horse boxes for sale.

She said: “When I said definitely not, he back tracked and said he knew there was one in the area, but wasn’t sure exactly where it was.”

She said the man was in his 50s and spoke with an Irish accent and was bare chested. A lurcher-type dog was on the back seat.

She said: “Please be super vigilant and warn others in Wiltshire.”
