Rotary has new president

Bradford on Avon Rotary Club recently held their handover evening to welcome new president David Gray.

In his acceptance speech Mr Gray spoke of looking forward to his year, to give help where we can, both home and abroad. His chosen charity for the year is Life Education Centre helping primary school children on the problems they face with alcohol and drug abuse.

It was also announced by outgoing president Andrew Huxham that £1500 was being given to the L.E.C.

Mr Gray lives with his wife Carol and children Oliver and Emily in Winsley near Bradford on Avon.

He trained as a cabinet maker with Bath Cabinet Makers and he progressed to production director and subsequently managing director. He spent the final 10 years of his career as MD with Wades Upholstery in the West Midlands.
