Rain fails to stop visitors to U3A photographic exhibition

THE rain didn’t put people off from visiting the University of Third Age Bradford on Avon Photographic Group’s exhibition in the West Barn last weekend.

Considered to be a huge success, over 500 people turned up to view – and buy – the 100 pictures on display.

Jon Durrant, who leads the group’s monthly meetings, said: “A lot people were quite surprised by the standard of photography achieved by our U3A members and we had several enquiries from people wanting to join us.”

To join, contact Michael Hodgson on 01225 865035.
