Bridge debate: have your say

No other topic on this website generates quite as much interest, or quite as many comments by the public, as the proposed new bridge between Kingston Mills and the library car park.
I’m wary of allowing the topic to swamp everything else here. Equally, I’m conscious that it’s a topic people are very keen to have their say on.
So, this page is for having your say. If you have an opinion, express it here and now.
If you’ve always wanted to write an essay of your own in favour of one side of the bridge debate or another, this is the place to write it.
Just one thing before your roll up your sleeves and start typing: please read, and observe, the house rules, particularly the bit in rule number five about how “we welcome opinions, but are mindful that everyone has different ones.” You are encouraged to debate disagreements, but attempts to do so in an abusive or aggressive manner will be deleted.
