A CANNABIS street warning was issued to a man in his 20s who was stop-checked by police on a routine patrol in Roundpond, Melksham, at 3.04pm on February 10. The driver from Melksham was found to be in possession of cannabis.

Drugs bust

OFFICERS stop-checked a vehicle on the A350 at Melksham while patrolling the road at 4.17pm on February 10 and found the driver was in possession of cannabis. The man in his 40s from Melksham was given a cannabis street warning.

Vehicles entered

ITEMS were stolen from two vehicles parked in Portman Road, Melksham, at 2.15am on February 12 after a thief forced entry. CCTV enquiries are ongoing.

Vehicle searched

AN untidy search was made of two vehicles parked in Scotland Road, Melksham, overnight on February 11. No damage was caused.

Car nicked

A CAR was taken from a driveway on Granville Road, Melksham, overnight on February 11 after a burglar gained access to a house via the front door, stole the spare key to a car, then stole the vehicle. The car was found abandoned further down Granville Road. Cash was stolen from the vehicle.

Fuel stolen

FUEL was stolen from a lorry parked at Wickes Building Supplies in Trowbridge between 4pm on February 9 and 7am on February 10.

Vehicle scratched

A SIDE panel was scratched on a grey Honda Civic parked on a private driveway in Fleur De Lys Drive, Trowbridge, overnight on February 9-10.

Bikes taken

A CARRERA mountain bike was stolen from outside Lloyd’s, in Fore Street, Trowbridge, between 1pm on February 4 and 4pm on February 7. The lock had been cut and the bike removed. Two Carrera mountain bikes were also stolen from L F Beauty, Aintree Avenue, Trowbridge, on February 6-7.
