CALL FOR ENTRIES: ANNUAL FLOWER & PRODUCE SHOW 2019

It’s that time of year again, when local gardeners, crafters and cooks start planning for the Annual Flower & Produce Show, now in its 10th year!

This year, there are more classes to enter than ever – a whopping 100 in all. All the favourites are there, but this year the craft section has been expanded to a total 11 categories, open to exhibitors of all ages.

And to encourage crafters further, the Ms B Avon WI group has kindly donated a handsome new trophy, (photo Lydia Booth Photography), to be awarded to the exhibitor gaining most points in the craft classes.

Show schedules are being sent out to previous exhibitors; you can also pick them up from the Town Council offices, the railway station and various other spots around town, or download them by clicking HERE.

The 2019 show will be held on Sunday 8 September, from 2-4pm, at St Margaret’s Hall.

Town Council support means the show is free to enter and attend – and we look forward to seeing you there!

SO REMEMBER – IF YOU GROW IT (OR COOK, BREW OR CRAFT IT), SHOW IT!
