Bradford on Avon Lorry Watch volunteers notch court success

LORRY Watch volunteers in Bradford on Avon have notched up another successful prosecution.

Wiltshire Heavy Building Materials Ltd were convicted on November 12 of breaching the town bridge’s 18-tonne weight restriction order and fined £750. Wiltshire Council was awarded £200 costs and a victim surcharge of £75.

Court hearings for two further offences by different companies will take place in December.
