Marketing & Media Relations Manager required for Iford Arts

Position: Marketing & Media Relations Manager
Part-time job opportunity

Iford Arts is a small arts organisation and registered charity. We run an annual music and opera festival at Iford near Bradford on Avon during the months June – August. We are looking for an energetic team player who would enjoy working as part of a small supportive and committed office. The position is 12 hours per week, ideally split over two days, on an annual basis. Hours can be arranged to suit but flexibility required around deadline periods.

A background or keen interest in music and the performance arts would be preferable, with experience of press & marketing activity. You will need good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent IT knowledge essential – word, excel, email, e-marketing etc. Additionally, knowledge of Access database and web management would be helpful but not essential as training can be arranged.

Job: Vacancy at Scallywags

We are looking for a Mature person to work on Saturdays in the shop from 10-4.30pm.

Full training will be given.

Duties will include lots of writing, pricing second hand clothes as they come in (sometimes as much as 300 items per day!), Serving customers, selling, handling money and changing displays.
The person would also be a key holder and would at times open and close the shop.

You will need a good clear handwriting, an ablity to learn and develop, a good manner with customers and a good tolerance of small children!

This job may suit a new grandmother!
