The cause of some upset

This enormous phone mast has appeared at the pedestrian crossing over the railway, linking Barton Farm Country Park to Barton Orchard.

It would appear that because it was erected on railway-owned land, no planning permission was needed. Nor, it would seem, any consultation at all.

People are, understandably, annoyed.
