Advert fees are as follows:
- Site home page: £10/month or £90 for 12 months.
This will be a non-exclusive spot on the front page. Your ad will appear in rotation (depending how many other advertisers there are). - Any other page: £7/month or £60 for 12 months.
How to advertise
Please supply your advert as a JPG, GIF or PNG image file and the URL you wish it to link to.
The difference between ads and posts
This site is intended as a public noticeboard for the people of the town, so the difference between adverts and posts can get a bit blurry.
In short: if you’d like us to post a notice about your upcoming event, we’ll be happy to do so for free. Your notice will be a one-off, and treated like all other posts. It will eventually drop off the front page as newer items are posted at the top.
A paid ad, on the other hand, will remain prominently visible on the pages you’ve asked it to appear on, for as long as you pay for it to be there. It won’t disappear as new content is added, and you’ll be able to say exactly what you want it to look like.
